My name is Craig and I have started dabbling with RPG design. I am the creator of many half-formed projects and vague, three line idea summaries.
I Don't Need Therapy, I Need to Get Gangbanged by 14 Werewolves in Public
It started off as a silly t-shirt, then became a meme. You made a boast, and somehow you now find yourselves putting together a 14 werewolf gangbang.
A lot of people want to see you succeed. A lot of people want to see you fail. Either way, it's going to get messy.
Despite the name there's no adult content in this, but you do see the word "gangbang" a whole lot.
I.D.N.T.I.N.T.G.G.B.B.14.W.I.P. is a Descended from the Queen game for 2-4 players about a group of people planning a very indecent public sex act and the werewolves that they gather. A silly, unplaytested (but when do I ever?) game inspired by a meme. Practice for a "proper" hack of For the Queen that I hope to release next year.
It is the future. Elite Special Forces units are no longer funded based upon the merits of their abilities, the rarity of their skill sets, or the needs and requirements of combat doctrine as we would understand it. They are funded almost entirely based on how much children buy their action figures, toy lines and merchandise. It isn’t just about getting the mission done, it’s doing it in ways that can be turned into toys, comics, and novelty plush toys. These aren’t just special forces; they are Mercs with Merch!
A Lasers and Feelings hack that basically came to me during a long van drive and I had to write so it wouldn't bug me anymore. Also my first experiment with Affinity.
Through an unlikely chain of circumstances, a small group of people have been thrust into the cockpit of the VICTOR VULCAN, a prototype giant fighting robot. Can these unlikely heroes figure out how to pilot the mech in time to save the day?
My Mecha's Minus a Manual is a storytelling game for two or more players. I've been sitting on a version of this idea for years, fantasising about it being everything from a QWOP style flash game to a VR experience. Sadly I can't code, so here's what you get. Currently needs another pass through before I'm completely happy with it, but I just had to get it out there or I'd sit on it forever.
My first game released on itch.io, There Will Be No Encore is a two player storytelling RPG about the demise of a famous band and their notorious final concert. Players take it in turns to ask each other questions and slowly build a picture of the band, their last night as a team, and the tensions that drove them apart. The game is inspired by Big Fight Feel but unaffiliated with Jeff Stormer.
Every player is a criminal on the same heist crew. Your last job went badly wrong. Butch warned about a rat, and now he’s dying at your feet. Unfortunately, he didn’t manage to say who the rat WAS. Tensions are rising, and it's only a matter of time before everyone draws their weapon and it becomes...a fingergun standoff.
Fingergun Standoff is a simple print and play game for three or more players. After a heist goes bad, desperate criminals hold each other at gunpoint - fingerguns, in this case - and argue about who sabotaged the heist. By accusation and counter-accusation, the story of the heist may emerge...IF someone doesn't open fire first.
Fingergun Standoff was written for the Tiny Games Library jam. I had a half-written version of it before the game jam started, but the jam helped me tighten it up a bit and I think it's a better product despite having half the content. Having to cut a couple of the jokes stung a little, but I only had a business-card sized space to work with.
